Hey everybody! I hope everything is going great back in NC! I already miss all of you like you wouldn't believe! It's our second full day here at the "Villa" so everybody is still getting settled in. There are 24 other students on the team and they all seem to be really nice people (even though most of them are from up north) haha. There are still a lot of things to get used to: I've got three other guys in my room, they don't have wash cloths down here, and we can't flush the toilet paper! Gross! But after a while I'm sure we will all adjust. Yesterday we had a lot of free time so I was able to read for several hours (a first for me) and God showed me some awesome things! He has already been revealing new things in His word and showing me that He is my ultimate comfort, not home! Even though it's very, very tough being so far away from home and knowing that I'm not leaving any time soon, I know I can rest in Jesus and He will provide the strength for me to get through it! Thanks for all of your prayers! I love y'all!
Evan

Hey brother Eman! Its awesome to be able to read your thoughts and activities for the day, just keep teaching us how good it is to be in THE WORD early every morning! You are so special and loved by everyone who knows you. Macaroni,G,and D Mac say Hi.....we will continually be praying for you and your safety and please keep the blogs comming!!!!! love BMW
WHATS UP BIG E! I am PROUD of you, man.
Beautiful place, huh? It does have its mix of "third world" and "beauty"--hopefully you will get to try some authentic Costa Rican food while there. I always thought it strange that at even breakfast the local fast food joints offered black beans and rice (not with my pancakes, please!!!!!)
We had a local lady fix us some food one evening and it was beyond awesome!
Anyway, bro, have a great time and we are thinking of you. It was kind of weird to have leaders meeting the other night and not having you play guitar for us--but Kaitlyn did a superb job in your place!
Grab that kids guitar and JAM--you can ask for forgiveness later(ha, ha).
We love you much,
Ricky, Alana, Meredith and Caelyn
