Rainy week in CR

Hey everybody!

It's almost 5pm on Sunday, October 19th and we just got back from church. It has been a pretty normal week here in Costa Rica. We got a ton of rain this week. They told us that it rained more here between Tuesday and Friday than they have had in that short of a time period in 104 years! There has been a lot of flooding in other parts of the country but none here.

This morning I got to watch the service on the internet again! I've been able to do that almost every Sunday and its been great to get to see and hear everybody!

This week is going to be a little different. We usually have Spanish class all morning but this week we're having a special Bible teacher coming in so we are gonna have Bible in the mornings and just a little bit of Spanish in the afternoons. It will be a nice break from so much Spanish!

God has continued to show Himself strong and reveal new things in His word everyday! Thank y'all so much for the prayers!

I love and miss y'all!

Evan

I hope this week of classes is a nice change for you! Enjoy the Bible classes...welcome to my world! :)

Remember to be aware of the different points of view you may be hearing from teachers, other students, the locals...theological and otherwise. Encountering people with different worldviews makes you examine your own, and challenges you to consider why it is what it is. Sometimes those experiences are better than any lesson learned from a text book! (There's your nugget of knowledge for the day...from your older, wiser sister! :)

Love ya!
